Skilled Trades May Be the Best Job Opportunity
Not too long ago, I attended a webinar on the outlook for jobs. One of the most interesting topics discussed is that there are about 3.8 million jobs available to U.S. workers today. And many of them are for skilled trades. It’s clear that college may not be the best route for a lot of people, especially for those just entering or new to the workforce.
Your best strategy for landing an interesting, well-paying job with a good future could be training as a skilled tradesperson. Climbing a telephone pole to repair equipment, maintaining electrical systems, or keeping next-generation cars and trucks running might be the best career choice. It’s definitely something to think about.
